Yes, there are 2 options for local API: Home Assistant Core and MQTT. (Which option is right for me?)
This allows developers and advanced users to:
Access real-time water usage data (flow, volume, high flow and unusual flow alerts)
Build custom integrations and automations
Extend Droplet functionality into their smart home ecosystems
