✅ When Droplet Will Work
Droplet is compatible with:
Individually plumbed apartments or condos, where each unit has its own water line
Single-family homes or townhouses with dedicated plumbing
As long as you can access a straight, clean section of your unit’s main supply pipe (usually near the water shutoff valve), Droplet can monitor all water usage in your home.
⚠️ When It Might Not Work
In some multi-unit buildings:
Water lines are shared between units
You may only have access to a branch line, not your full supply line
In these cases, Droplet may pick up water usage from neighbors, resulting in inaccurate readings.
