Droplet is designed to stay up-to-date automatically, so you don’t have to worry about managing firmware or missing new features. Here’s how it works:


🧠 Firmware Updates: No Action Needed

Droplet receives firmware updates over the air (OTA). These updates improve performance, fix bugs, and introduce new features.

What to know:

  • Updates are installed automatically when Droplet is plugged in and connected to Wi-Fi.

  • You don’t need to initiate or approve anything — we’ll handle it for you.

  • Most updates happen quietly in the background. In rare cases, your light may blink briefly during an update.

💡 If you’ve experienced a fix after reaching out to support, it may be because we performed a remote firmware calibration or update.


📲 App Updates: Keep Your Droplet App Current

To ensure you’re seeing the latest features, notifications, and settings options, it’s important to keep the Droplet mobile app up to date.

🔄 How to Update the App

  • Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)

  • Search for Droplet by Hydrific

  • If an update is available, tap Update

🆕 Tip: Enable auto-updates on your phone to get the latest version as soon as it’s released.
