Yes β but only if the original owner performs a Factory Reset first.
Similar to how Apple handles device transfers, Droplet remains tied to the original account until a Factory Reset is completed.
If you're handing off your Droplet (e.g. after a move, sale, or as a gift), here are your options:
β Option 1: Factory Reset by the Original Owner (Recommended)
Original owner logs into the Droplet app
Go to Menu > Droplet Settings > Factory Reset
Confirm the reset
Once reset, the new owner can install Droplet like a brand-new device, using their own account.
π This ensures proper onboarding, calibration, and learning for the new home.
β οΈ Option 2: Share Login Info
If a Factory Reset isn't possible, the new owner can log in with the original account credentials. However:
They will see the original usage history
Calibration and tagging will reflect the old installation
A Factory Reset is still required to properly onboard the device to a new plumbing system
Important Notes:
πΎ Historical data does not transfer between accounts
π οΈ Factory Reset is required to clear calibration and tagging data
π Without a reset, the device stays locked to the original account
