Droplet Showing Incorrect Usage (Too High or Too Low)

If your water usage readings seem unusually high or low, Droplet may need a slight adjustment or recalibration. This can happen occasionally based on how the device is installed or how your plumbing system behaves.

πŸ”Ž Common Causes of Inaccurate Readings

  • Droplet is not centered or fully flush against the pipe

  • Installed too close to elbows, valves, or T-junctions

  • Pipe material or wall thickness affects signal transmission

  • Untagged events are being misinterpreted by the system

  • Pipe surface was painted, oxidized, or uneven

Be advised that Droplet can take up to 48 hours after installation to learn your home and calibrate to your pipes.

πŸ› οΈ If you have accuracy concerns after 48 hours, reach out to us at [email protected] and we'll attempt a calibration!
