If your Hydrific Droplet is unable to detect pipes or water flow, or if your water usage readings seem unusually high or low, the device may need adjustment, recalibration, or troubleshooting. This can happen based on installation, plumbing system behavior, or initial setup issues.
π Common Causes of Detection and Accuracy Issues
Droplet is not centered or fully flush against the pipe
Installed too close to elbows, valves, or T-junctions
Pipe material or wall thickness affects signal transmission
Untagged events are being misinterpreted by the system
Pipe surface was painted, oxidized, or uneven- Pipe is dirty or has debris, interfering with detection
Device is not receiving stable Wi-Fi or power connection
